Our Team

TargoPep’s current team is composed of our CSO, Dr. Fergus McWhinnie, and the CEO & Commercial Lead, Ken Fyvie with further scientific input from the two founders, Prof. Glenn Burley and Prof. Simon Mackay, working out of Pure and Applied Chemistry and the Strathclyde Institute of Pharmacy & Biomedical Sciences within the University of Strathclyde. Our Board of Directors meets monthly overseeing all aspects of business governance.

The core team’s capabilities are augmented by the breadth of scientific and commercial experience of Dr. Darcey Black as an advisor to TargoPep. Dr. Black is a founder and principal of TherapeutAix which consults to the biopharma industry in drug discovery, R&D and translational sciences. The efforts of the team are further aided and augmented by Debbie Stack of the university’s IP and Commercialisation team and by external resources with skills in marketing and communications that are focused upon developing and supporting TargoPep’s identity and online presence.
